aleo solar AG (aleo solar) has supplied solar modules for a 2.3 MW solar farm in Corinaldo, Italy. Around 10,000 aleo solar S_18 modules have now been installed in this farm in Italy's Marche region. Connected to the national grid in mid-September 2009, the greenfield solar power plant has a fixed mounting system and is designed to produce around 3,000,000 kW hours annually. The Corinaldo project has been developed and constructed by General Building S.p.A.

General Building has installed photovoltaic plants with a total rated output of more than 3 MW to date. "We have seen excellent yields from facilities built using modules from aleo solar, so we naturally used aleo solar modules again for the Corinaldo project," comments Marco Maracci, CEO of General Building. "The durability and reliability of these premium modules are the very best guarantee that we can give our investors." The project investor is E-Production, a member of the Pohl Group. Active in the renewables industry, the company's planned investments in this sector also include the installation of about 25 MW of plants in Apulia and a number of other Italian regions.

"Our modules are not only in demand for rooftop applications but also for large scale installations, where investors take especial care to assess the performance and durability of the plants they invest in," comments Giovanni Buogo, Director Sales, aleo solar Italia S.r.l.
