aleo solar To Supply Solar Modules For 2 MW Solar Farm In Bavaria, Germany

aleo solar AG (aleo solar) will supply solar modules for a 2 megawatt (MW) solar farm in Geiselhoring, Bavaria (district of Straubing-Bogen). A building permit has been issued and the grid connection of the solar power station is expected in July 2009. A total of 9,180 aleo type S_18 modules will be installed on a fixed mounting system supplied by Krinner GmbH. The solar power plant should produce around 2,050,000 kilowatt (kW) hours annually.

The operator and project developer GSW Gold SolarWind Management GmbH (GSW) is offering stakes in the Geiselhoring solar farm from EUR5,000 with local applicants being preferred. The solar fund is already fully subscribed. GSW operates a total of 56 wind power installations and 38 citizen-funded solar power plants. The company, which has many years of experience in the field of renewable energy, has already installed photovoltaic plants with a total output of more than 3,000 kW.
