aleo solar To Supply Solar Modules For 850 kW Solar Farm In Bavaria, Germany
Published: 13-Oct-2009
aleo solar AG (aleo solar) will supply most of the solar modules to be installed at a 850 kW solar farm in Strasskirchen in the Straubing-Boden district of Bavaria, Germany. A building permit has been granted for the solar power plant, which will be connected to the grid in December 2009. A total of 3,300 aleo type S_18 modules will be installed on a fixed mounting system supplied by Krinner Schraubfundamente GmbH based in Strasskirchen, which is expected to yield 900,000 kWh annually.
This project is a continuation of aleo solar's cooperation with GSW Gold SolarWind Management GmbH in Aiterhofen, which is building the solar farm for a group of six local investors. In April, aleo solar reported that it was supplying solar modules to project developer GSW for a 2,000 kW solar farm in Geiselhöring, Bavaria.
"Our solar farms are carefully planned", says GSW founder and managing director Josef Gold. "We make a point of investing the capital entrusted to us by our investors only in solar projects with high-quality components. The aleo modules and 78 inverters from SMA, which we also procure through aleo solar, meet this high standard. Additionally, our solar farms create value in the region since the funds will generate profits and the taxes will remain in the local area. The mounting system will also be supplied and installed by a local company, Krinner Schraubfundamente GmbH."
Heiner Willers, COO of aleo solar AG, believes the company's sales strategy has been confirmed. "Our philosophy of cooperative growth enables us to retain customers for many years. An experienced partner like GSW shows that companies specializing in photovoltaics can execute a wide variety of different rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. We vouch for excellent quality, high yields and outstanding service, and these criteria form the basis for attractive investment opportunities in photovoltaics."
