CleanChoice Energy launches Massachusetts office

Published 07 September 2017

CleanChoice Energy, a retail renewable energy company providing 100% clean electricity to customers across the country, announced it has opened a Massachusetts office to support the company's growth in the state.

The new location will allow CleanChoice to expand its Massachusetts clean energy services including renewable energy choices for small businesses, community solar and residential clean energy. CleanChoice allows residents and businesses to make the switch to 100% clean energy with no upfront investment, setup fees or installation. The company launched a 100% Solar retail electricity supply product last month for Massachusetts residents.

"Massachusetts is a national leader in clean energy jobs and innovation—and we're excited to be a part of that growth," said Tom Matzzie, Founder and CEO of CleanChoice Energy. "We're dedicated to making it simple and convenient for Massachusetts residents and businesses to make the switch to 100% clean energy. More clean energy choices mean better clean energy choices for everyone."

CleanChoice Energy is the first licensed retail energy provider offering only 100 percent renewable energy products to American homes and businesses. The company has made it as easy as possible for people to choose clean energy as-a-service instead of as a home construction project. By applying consumer and geospatial data to large-scale marketing campaigns, the company has served more than 1 billion kilowatts of clean energy to customers in nine states since 2013.

Clean Choice Energy's innovative approach has allowed them to grow quickly since launching in 2013. The company is now one of the largest direct-to-consumer renewable retail energy providers in the United States, servicing eight states and the District of Columbia through campaign-based micro-targeting. Recently, CleanChoice was named to the Inc. 5000 as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in America.
