Motech Industries, E-Ton Solar And Neo Solar Sign MoU With Canadian Solar For Combined 160 MWp Solar Cells

Published: 18-Nov-2009

Motech Industries Inc. (Motech Industries), E-Ton Solar Tech Co., Ltd. (E-Ton Solar) and Neo Solar Power Corporation (Neo Solar), have each signed MOUs with Canadian Solar Inc. (Canadian Solar) to supply 40 MWp, 60 MWp and 60 MWp, respectively, of solar cells beginning in 2010, digitimes.com reported.

Canadian Solar which now has seven wholly owned subsidiaries in China, came to Taiwan on November 9, 2009, as part of a procurement and business delegation from Jiangsu Province, eastern China.

Motech Industries, E-Ton Solar and Neo Solar have indirectly confirmed the MOU signing, but indicated that they will strike deals only depending on 2010 market conditions.

Motech Industries has signed a MOU with Jiangsu Sainty International Group, an import/export business group based in Jiangsu, to supply 30 MWp of solar cells, for which commercial shipments will begin in 2010.
